Rather than spend your time and efforts on various fundraising projects during the school year, make a one-time monetary contribution. You can then pick and choose what fundraisers you participate in--or ignore them all. It's up to you.  Market Day
Market Day is a unique fundraiser offering a wide selection of high quality foods at competitive prices. Products range from butcher shop meats and poultry to easy family meals, delicious appetizers and gourmet desserts. Each month you will receive a brochure about ordering Market Day products. You can order using the form included in the brochure or via the web site www.marketday.com. The deadline for ordering and pick-up are listed on the brochure and provided online.
   Incentive Programs
Incentive programs are an easy way for the LES PTA to earn money from your everyday purchases made at Target and Giant, Safeway, Martins, and Food Lion grocery stores. Just register your store card and designate Lisbon Elementary to receive benefits. Our school will earn a certain percentage of your total purchase price every time you shop.  Box Tops for Education
Clip box tops from hundreds of General Mills products and LES PTA earns cash! Products like cereals, refrigerated and frozen items, baking mixes, and snacks are just some examples. Simply collect your box top coupons, place in an envelope, and send to school. For more information, a complete list of products, and coupons go to their web site www.boxtops4education.com.
 Campbell Labels
Lisbon participates each year in the Campbell's Labels for Education program which provides a variety of sports equipment, educational classroom aides, and supplies for teachers and students. You may be very familiar with this program which has been around for many years.....BUT we are now saving UPC's instead of labels. Carefully cut and send in UPCs (bar codes) from participating products with your child. At the beginning of each year we will send out a participating product list but you may visit www.labels4education.com to find out just what to save and learn more about this beneficial program.
 Coke Rewards
New this year Lisbon has signed up for Coke rewards program. For over 80 years, Coca-Cola has been supporting schools and providing resources that help create exciting opportunities for students. The My Coke Rewards for Schools program refreshes this longstanding commitment by enabling your community to support all the ways kids play and make great things happen for your school. You can donate My Coke Rewards points to eligible accredited schools grades K-12, and help them get things like athletic equipment, classroom supplies, learning aids and more.  Tysons Project A+
New this year Lisbon has signed up for Tysons Project A+ program. Tyson Project A+™ label redemption incentive award program is sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. The program is designed to help schools earn extra money quickly and easily. The money may be used in any way the school chooses.  Terracycle
LES has earned the coveted Green School certification, we recycle and repurpose various materials. Here are ways students and families can participate:
At lunchtime, kids with empty juice pouches (Capri Sun, Honest Kids, Kool Aid, etc.) can deposit them in the specially designated bin onstage.
Students also can discard empty glue sticks, jars or other glue containers in labeled bins in each grade area.
The PTA sends these items to Terracycle, a company that "upcycles" them into other products and donates 2 cents per item to our school.
 Media Gift Fund
A week or two prior to your child's birthday you will receive a Media Gift Fund donation form. A donation to the Lisbon Media Gift Fund enables your child to personally select from the many brand-new, beautiful books recently acquired for the Media Center. The book selected will have a bookplate affixed which will be inscribed with your child's name, the date, the occasion, and the name of the donor. Your child will be the first to borrow this book from the Media Center. A contribution can also be used to commemorate other special occasions such as thank you to teachers or acknowledgement for special achievements.
