LES PTA Basket Bingo - Mark your Calendars!
|
|
LES PTA's Basket Bingo is scheduled for Friday, March 2,
2012 at St. Michael's Church.
Tickets can be
purchased using the Ticket Order Form...$15 in advance/$20 at
the door. Limited Seating Available. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
and bingo will start at 6:30 p.m. Many great prizes available.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Come join us for a fun family evening where you have the opportunity to win
4 park passes to any Disney theme park in Florida, Maryland Terps lacrosse
and Bowie Bay Sox tickets, bus trip to Atlantic City, autographed
Washington Capitals puck and many, many other great prizes donated by local
businesses and our LES families. For tickets please use the attached ticket
form or contact Pina Spitzer.
We still have many baskets/handbags that need sponsoring. Donations may be
made in any amount and will be applied towards a basket not yet sponsored.
If you are interested in sponsoring a basket and/or know of another family(ies) or business who may be interested in sharing
the cost of the sponsorship, please contact Cathy Pearcy. Print and fill out the
Basket Bingo Sponsor Form and return to the
address on the form.
We are also looking for donations to fill our baskets. Themes have been
assigned to each classroom, however, you are welcome to donate an item that
fits any one of the below themes.

LES Recycles!

LES has earned the
coveted Green School certification, we recycle and repurpose various
materials. Here are ways students and families can participate:
At lunchtime, kids with empty juice pouches (Capri Sun, Honest Kids, Kool Aid, etc.) can deposit them in the specially designated
bin onstage.
Students also can discard empty glue sticks, jars or other glue containers
in labeled bins in each grade area.
The PTA sends these items to Terracycle, a company that "upcycles"
them into other products and donates 2 cents per item to our school.
