| Walking Wednesdays |
| Walking Wednesday is a FUN, 8 week program designed to get students moving in a healthy, exciting and rewarding way! During recess, students will have the opportunity to walk or run around a course near the playground. Each time they walk 2 miles, they will be rewarded. Walking Wednesdays begins April 15th and lasts through June 3rd. Parents! We need you! In order to make this a success, we need 4 volunteers during each recess from 10:20 a.m. until 1:40 p.m. If you can help, please contact Kim FitzGibbon at fitzgibbonhome@verizon.net OR sign up to help with Walking Wednesdays directly at mysignup.com. Once on the website scroll down to the second gray box which asks for an email address. Enter fitzgibbonhome@verizon.net. Choose lisbonwalks and follow directions on the site. |
Make a donation to LES from our
teacher generated Wish List Catalog
|
|
Instead of making a general purpose donation, this year we have responded to parents’ requests to donate a specific item to their child's classroom or related arts programs. The teachers have gathered the LES Teachers' Wish List Catalog. Use this link or pick up a copy in the school's front office. See the catalog for specific instructions. It's easy! |

| Incentive Programs |
Incentive programs are an easy way for the LES PTA to earn money from your everyday purchases made at Target and Giant, Safeway, Martins, and Food Lion grocery stores. Just register your store card and designate Lisbon Elementary to receive benefits. Our school will earn a certain percentage of your total purchase price every time you shop. Click here to register for incentives online.
Don't forget to send your Safeway receipts into school by October 6 for Lisbon to receive the Back to School benefits. Tell your family, friends, and co-workers the same and we can get the benefits from their purchases as well. For more information go to www.escrip.com or
contact Debbie Alexander.
