Lisbon Had a surprise visit from Harlem Wizards Big J. Big J came and spent time in every classes lunch and 1 classes Recess. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders sang LOUDLY while our Kindergarteners and 1st graders where in awe! Our 2nd graders spent some of their Recess watching his tricks. The Wizards will be playing against our Lisbon and Glenwood Staff Friday at 630pm at Glenelg High School. Online ticket sales close at 3pm. See a kindergarten classroom, meet a teacher and get school specificinformation to help for a smooth transition to K. This is also a time to answer questions!After the visit, students are invited to continue the fun by joining at the playground infront of the school for a kinder playdate.![]()

When: Wednesday, May 1st from 1:45-2:30 PM-Classroom Visit & Stay after the classroom visit for a playdate onthe playground at the park in front of Lisbon (2:30-3:00 PM)![]()

What To Expect![]()
:● Upon arrival you will be given a cut-out that will randomly assign you to a kindergartenclassroom to visit. (at this point we do not have students assigned to a specific teacherfor the 2024-25 school year, but you will be with one of our K teachers)![]()
● Students will hear a story, participate in an activity and receive a small gift.![]()
● Parents will listen to a presentation, get questions answered and receive handouts tofoster the transition to K.![]()
● After the visit, stay as you are able, to meet other incoming k students for a playdate onthe playground in front of our school. (weather permitting
